Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is the Linux distribution currently sold and supported by Red Hat. RHEL is intended to provide a robust and reliable operating system for enterprise computing environments, particularly on workstations, servers, and mainframes. Although RHEL is a commercial product, it is legal to make and distribute copies of RHEL with or without modifications; however, when distributing a copy of RHEL en masse, all Red Hat trademarks should be removed to avoid legal complications arising from trademark violation.
