At 7pm, February 09, 1999, the Southern Tier of New York Linux User Group (STNY LUG) met at Kristofor's on Route 17C (Main St.) Endicott.

Discussion
No formal agenda was followed, but a good time was had by all. We talked about many things. One was the VNC remote desktop control software package, which can be downloaded at http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc Some humorous email was passed around (by Mongo, I think).
Next Meeting
The next meeting will be officially announced shortly, but it is scheduled to be held at 7 pm on February 23, 1999. It will be held at Spectra.Net in Johson City. Details and directions will be available in the official announcement.
